Going Public

I've decided to go public for a while because I don't have everyone's e-mail addresses to do invites. This way anyone can find us through a link on one of your blogs. I would really like all of your blog addresses so that I can put them on my blog list as well. You can put them in the comments box or e-mail them to me at beanie_397@hotmail.com. I'm still new at this so if any of you have any suggestions or things that you really like to do on your blogs please share!! I'm so glad that I can keep in touch with you all better through all of our blogs.

Time with dad.

My kids have got such a great dad!! They love to spend time with him, and he does what they want even if he doesn't want to, because he loves them. Like playing horsey. He doesn't enjoy it but he does it because the kids love it.
Doesn't he look thrilled about playing the horse.

The horse is dead!!! "J" always tells them he needs a kiss to get going again.
They all really like to wrestle and play steam roller. It's a wonder they don't get hurt more often.

"J" was teaching Bubba how to brush his teeth. I love this picture!!

Time to spit, or at least try too. Bubba hasn't quite mastered that yet.
Don't ask me what Bubba is doing in this photo. I have no idea, but I still think it's cute.

Fashion in our home.

"Bubba" has been cracking me up lately. He is the funniest kid. I could watch him instead of TV any day. He likes to put things on his head and walk around. He doesn't care if he runs into stuff, he thinks it's fun. "Monkey" did the same thing at this age. What is up with my kids? Here are a few pictures of "Bubba's" headpieces.
Bubba is wearing his daddy's hat here, even though you can't see it very well.

"Bubba" dumped the clothes out of this little collapsible hamper and decided it was his new home.
As you can see, I had to put it on top of him while he was eating lunch just so that he wouldn't freak out.

I bought "Monkey" some princess boots for next year and he decided that they were his as well.

I had to add this one because it makes me laugh so much. "Monkey" tried so hard to take a pretty picture of herself. At least her nose is clean.

Trip to see family

My sister had her baby!!!! Yay!!! And I am such a dork that I forgot to take pictures of him. He's sure a cutie though. We got to go visit a week after he was born. My mom and dad met us there and we had a great weekend. Mom has connections and was able to get a two bedroom suite for all of us. It was so nice!!! Too bad I'm to poor to stay in it every time I visit. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Mom and Dad gave Bubba bath toys for Christmas and he had so much fun playing with them in the bath tub. Obviously we didn't watch him very closely. The minute he got a chance he was right back in there along with all his clothes.

Of course, Monkey can't stand it when Bubba is getting all the attention and she couldn't wait to try out her swimming suit so she jumped right in as well.
Did you ever play shark and minnows in the pool when you were a kid. I thought it would be fun to play with the kids. It really was but it's pretty sad when a four year old can swim almost better than you can.
Monkey is my little water baby. She loves to swim and thought it was so fun to lie on her back.

I had to put this picture in. The little goggles crack me up. Especially the orange ones that her cousin is wearing.

Bubba likes the water, but not as much as Emma. He wasn't in for very long.

My boys love the hot tub.

Christmas 2008: Yes christmas is way past, but I want to post a few pictures anyway.

"Monkey" loves to open presents!!!

Candy time!!! Yeah!!!

I think this is one of the only presents that "Bubba" opened. He was not interested in unwrapping his gifts so I did most of it for him.

"Bubba" has made this push mower into a riding one. He is so funny!!

"Monkey" wanted this vanity table so much!! Thank goodness for grandparents!!!

Here's a recap of our life since our new addition.

Our newest addition "Smalls" was born on October 23, 2008. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz, and was 19 3/4 in. long. Even though he was a surprise it has been wonderful to have in our home. He is now three months old and is growing so fast. He loves to smile and is a very happy baby.

What a good dad!! I had a harder time recuperating from this labor than I did with the other kids and he was so patient with me when I was such a wreck.

"Monkey" was sick when he was born and I am such a nut case when it comes to the health of a new baby that I wasn't going to let her hold him. The nurse offered a mask for her to use and so we did that instead. She was so happy. "Monkey" is such a wonderful big sister and is a huge help, most of the time.

My mom came up to help out with the other kids. Boy was I glad that she was here!! When we told my In-laws that "Smalls" was here they decided on the spur of the moment to jump in the car and come see him. They had to leave the next day but it was so nice of them to make such a long trip in such a short time. The pictures that I have with them didn't turn out but we so appreciate the effort they made to show us their love.

I love this picture of him!!

My sweet boys!!

There is a first time for everything.

So this is the first time I have ever done a blog and it might turn out really ugly, so bear with me. If any of you long time bloggers have any advice please give it to me!!! I'm going to need all the help that I can get.
